I only burnt American Flag out of anger for my Dad who died without receiving the American Filipino Veterans Benefit which he deserves because they were underpaid while recruited as Filipino Soouts doing the same work and responsibilities as the American Soldiers after World War II as occupation troops in Okinawa. I will not burn Filipino Flag. But I will allow others if they would like to burn it for their own personal reason. Like what I have been saying in this forum that we Filipinos should accept and allow peaceful dissent. It is written in our Philippine Consitution indicated in the Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Assymbly. Freedom of Assymbly is what you call today as Laban Party, Arroyo Party, Bayan Muna Party, Kilusan Mangagawa Party, Anak Pawis Party, and even CPP which is unarmed Party. NPA being armed should not be acceptable but this should be solve through peace talks first and I am very confident that they will come to the fold of the law as a result of peace talk. Every Filipino wants peace in our country so that we will go forward and live with progress. A leader should work for peace at any cost. A leader should not think about war. President Arroyo wants war and she is getting it.
