First of all I do not like Bush or Rumsfield. And the Irag invasion was Cheney Plan. I also despise Hillary and Obama. To me the best US candidate would have been Ron Paul but, just like the the chance of the CPP obtaining the Presidency in the Philippines that will never happen in our lifetimes. I tolerate dissent. I do not tolerate ignorance as you so well display here in the forum. The burning of cell sites and a Flag only demonstrates that ignorance so very dramatically. I call it the "idiots" mentality which is something you most certainly practice and have definitely become a the resident master of. As far as the CPP. History has shown that Communism is notorious for substantial and repeated human rights violations. You only have to look at what is happening in Burma today post Cyclone to see the costly failures. The poor relief efforts are causing more deaths daily. If you look at North Korea the people are deprived of their rights daily while living a very hungry suppressed and depressed life. If you look at Cuba, Castro's brother has seen the light and is making changes however slowly towards a more democratic country because he knew what his brother did was wrong. The people in Venezuela although NOT communists per se, are having more and more of their rights suppressed. Many businesses have been nationalized causing major losses for investors there. Something Marcos did and we are still trying to undo that thirty six years later! Dissent is a good thing when done in a responsible manner. You write letters to your elected representatives even though you may not have voted for them. You go to your local LGU and express your concerns vs burn a flag or cell site. You don't take money or services in kind in the form of crops from others to support your cause. The CPP can exist I have no problem with an active CPP. What I have a problem with is GOONS WITH GUNS imposing their will by killing our brothers and outright stealing from residents that live near where the impose their will and ideology. When JOMA does not and will not sit down at the bargaining table, then there is absolutely no chance of the CPP being politically active in government here in the Philippines. JOMA wants things his way or not at all. And that is what the CPP currently has here politically, NOTHING! You can chant the CPP rant all you wish and we will keep chuckling at the misguided rant as it is like urinating into a fan, all you do is get wet with nothing good coming from the ranting. The one thing you need to learn about dissent is, you fight non violently until you come to the realization that your fight has ended and move on in life. The problem is your fighting a fight that your going to eventually take along with your hatred, to your grave. The fight was over when JOMA left and stepped out of the ability to effect change here are home. JOMA being in the Netherlands writing books and enjoying a darned good life while his followers toss their lives to the wind should be a slap in your face and a horrible gut punch that should horribly hurt. He abandoned you and his supporters but, none of you realize he is only coming home in a wooden box someday to rest in peace. He should have made the peace long ago so that his followers would be seeing the fruits of his efforts politically. As it is, all they see is more human right violations in the form of repression and suppression while killing their brothers. The casualties of the "Peoples War" are far to high as it is far to costly in so may ways. Even if the the Peoples War was won by the CPP the human rights problems would only be amplified and multiplied. Open your eyes, Communism has hurt many more people than it has ever helped and I for one refuse to support anything that hurts others just so someone can impose their will on the people.
