I am very optimistic that Leyte and Samar will be the center of any kind of business. It could be good if the dream of having an international airport in Guiuan will become reality. This huge airport could be the hub for all international businesses, like the UPS, Fedex and etc. to make it more accessible to their distribution business. Once the roads in Samar will be cemented and more roads to be done in the future, the manufacturing businesses will flourish in Eastern, Western and Northern Samar. But it needs everybody's help and input not only from the President but also from Senators and Congressmen to have a blueprint for Eastern Visayas. I also wish that our region will be the center for education, especially on Medical field. I want that Medical School for Nursing and Medicine should be in Eastern Visayas so that it will help our country's economy. Medical field graduates are badly needed all over the world. We should try to tap this line of our economic future if we want to be a player of global economic success in Asia. I think Eastern Visayas Region has everything that we can manage our own regional problems. We have geothermal power, we have good sources of water, we can boost for more rice production, we have many natural rsources and most of all we have so many educated people like engineers, doctors, nurses, teachers and retirees from abroad who are now coming home to live for the rest of their lives. These are good for our economic future in the region. Let's have some political elites and big shots to start up all this plan to make our region a good place for all of us including our coming children and grand children.
