The proposed federal system of government will not create 11 little state kings as pointed by Sen Joker Arroyo. This is an indication of Sen Joker Arroyo little understanding of modern Filipinos as him still living the old Philippine oligarchy. The more developed states like Cebu will infect all states the methods of correct governance. Imagine Cebu will carry broadcast TV, Radio that would penetrate all the way from Luzon to Mindanao, carrying news, government, economy and standings of other states. Certainly, no Kings and Oligarchs can control the airwaves for which residents are informed who is corrupt, who is abusing power and who is hindering democracy and freedom of every Filipino. The federal states system will compare each other and often will copy what is best and discard what is worst and each state will create its own system unique from other states. When one states is being abused by a little dictator, ten other states will kick this dictator. When one states needs emergency needs, ten other states will deliver the help. When one state is being terrorized, ten other states will mobilized. Corruption will be confined only to each state as opposed to the current system when corruption is rampant, the whole Philippines is paralyzed from one corrupt official. The federal system is good and we Filipinos should support it. The CPP and the NPA fully support the Federal System of Government and surely the CPP will be allowed to operate in some states and still illegal in other states. It is the democratic peoples choice which is respected. There will even be a constructive competition between states in the long run. Who can develop high yielding rice first. Who can develop alternative locally produce cheap energy and fuel. Who can create better medicine. Who can design and build a better city. Every state has will have its own expertise. The Federal System of government is a win win situation and we Filipinos should all support it.
