Mr. Nelson Petilla's panoramic photos of Catbalogan are beautiful to behold especially the "Catbalogan from East to West" one. He should have this particular shot available as a quality postcard or print. Catbalogan, indeed, is beautiful from the air. Its strategic geographical location on the western coast of Samar - with green rolling hills on one side and Maqueda Bay with its magnificent sunsets and islets on the other - is truly a blessing. A FEARLESS FORECAST!

It's Morales by TKO! I know that our Pacquiao fans will be surprised that a day before the fight I made this prediction. Well the Manny Pacquiao we have known during the second fight is not the Manny Pacquiao now and the Eric Morales is not his previous self!

Further, we have to consider their natural styles which are hard to ignore by their acquired habits.... Morales is a technical and methodical boxer while Pacquiao is a street-fighter who is easily made angry and carelessly attacks without plan, of course, just relying on his strength. But the strong fighter does not always win in boxing! It is the intelligent fighter that prevails. Dont get me wrong, am not saying that our idol does not have it but Morales is rich in experience, tipa-uli na, while Pacquiao is - tipakadto pa.

We also add to that the sort of mafia clout that Mejicanos have in the US. Guti-ay la nga deperensya, an away desisyonan na han mga judges pabor han mga Mejicanos! Of course Manny is heavily favored over Morales so that the fixers will definitely make money if the dehado wins. Hello mga kababayan!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy to see a Zumarraga website in the internet. WOW! my goodness sumisikat na ang mga bisaya. It's been a lifetime since I've been in my mother's hometown, 20 yrs ago love ko na ang Zumarraga; balita ko mas maganda na sa atin so promise the next time I go back in town I will visit Zumarraga again hoping for a family reunion, of course to see my former clasmates and have some reminiscing.

CFC Unit leader ngayan hiya og kadaman ira visitors membro han CFC community, families in the Holy Spirit renewwing the face of the earth. I was invited to attend the 11th CFC Samar Anniversary Celebration (May 19, 20 & 21). Nagkaada ako opurtunidad makaaro hin bulig han mga CFC servant leaders to conduct a Christian Life Program (CLP) sa Bgy Jia-an.

Pagbalik ko tikang ha Manila (attended the Couples for Christ Silver Anniversary Celebration: June 10-25, deretso ako sa Jia-an, 16 years na ako waray makauli, ngan nag house to house ako, inviting everyone to attend a Christian Life Program. We started the Orientaion on Aug 6, 2006 with 310 participants and followed with 12 talks (3 Modules, 4 talks per module). May ada 32 couples an naipakasal ha pade han CFC og haros ngatanan nga nagaatend han CLP nagkumpisal, duha nga padi og obispo an nagserbisyo ngadi ha Jia-an. It is grand to know that you have a web site where we can post our messages, I would like to let everybody know that we had fun the last time we visited Samar, my family and friends really had a great time, Calbayog City has few improvements, we should just help each other and work hard for the betterment of our city and nation as a whole, I have seen the hard work of Mayor Mel Sarmiento during the city festivities. I know we still have a long way to go but at least I've seen the efforts towards progress. Keep on working and just help, support and trust each other, forget about ourselves because the country is really desperate to move on, our neighboring countries in the southeast already moved forward, and we can too.

Our city and country is still a paradise, someday we can see our land to be at par with the rest of world, keep on working and support each other, I enjoyed the scenery and the spots, nature and man-made sceneries are awesome.

It was nice to see old relatives and friends again, I am proud to be Filipino and wherever I go I always make sure they know i am one. So be proud of your origin and make a mark. Thanks to our politicians be it working or ghosts, they are there when we need them, to the one working keep it up and to the invisible ones, hope you will be visible someday, you want your labor to be known nevertheless. All in all, this is still a great city to visit and a good land to step on.

I will miss Calbayog City so much....
